Financial Management for the Nonprofit Leader
NONPROFIT WORKSHOP

The University of Nebraska Nonprofit Management Institute is traveling to Grand Island, NE! Join us on Thursday, October 8, for Financial Management for the Nonprofit Leader at the Grand Island Community Center. For just $150, the one-day in-person workshop will provide valuable tools to manage a financially successful and sustainable nonprofit organization. This workshop is ideal for all nonprofit leaders from across the state. Gain insights directly from funders, network with Nebraska nonprofit leaders, and learn from our expert facilitator, Jim Croft, Ph.D.
All attendees will receive a discounted rate on any virtual Nonprofit Management Institute course of their choosing.
Women Who Care - Hall County

Women Who Care - Hall County is a quarterly giving circle aimed to support charitable organizations and initiatives in Hall County. Women meet 4 times a year for short, one-hour meetings where you'll learn from other members about local nonprofits. In the end, the group comes together and votes where their collective donation will go.
Members commit to $100 per quarter, or $50 per quarter if under the age of 40.

This Community Foundation Week, we're going Beyond Giving to explore the many ways philanthropy strengthens Hall County. Through educational events, conversations, and social media takeovers, we'll shine a light on the people, ideas, and opportunities that shape the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation.
From learning the basics of philanthropy and planning for the future, from hearing directly from local students and nonprofit organizations, Community Foundation Week is an opportunity to learn, connect, and see what giving to, with, and through the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation makes possible in Hall County.

Uh oh... Gen Z is taking over all of GGICF’s social media accounts to tell you more about scholarship opportunities, Youth Philanthropy Board, and other ways for younger generations to get involved with their community.

What happens after a gift is made? On Grant Takeover Day, we’re handing the mic to local nonprofits to share how Community Foundation grants are helping turn generosity into real work, real programs, and real impact across Hall County.

In celebration of Community Foundation Week, the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation is pleased to host our annual Estate Planning Workshop for Financial Professionals. Designed for attorneys, CPAs, and financial advisors, this seminar will explore timely topics in estate planning and charitable giving.
Five hours of continuing education credits, including CPE and MCLE, will be available.
