Tina Moreno

Administration and Scholarship Coordinator

Tina grew up in Grand Island, NE, and graduated from Grand Island Senior High. She attended Southeast Community College with a major in Business Administration. Tina is passionate about non-profits and is happy to join the Greater Grand Island Community Foundation as the Administrative Assistant.

Tina was previously the Finance Associate at the Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue, NE where she balanced her love of the environment with administrative duties. Tina has volunteered for Lincoln Parks and Rec. with the Adopt-a-Trail program, where she successfully kept a popular trail litter free for two years. She also assisted in an ongoing project to Beautify 24th street in Omaha by gardening and maintaining the planters.

After her adventures, Tina has decided to return to Grand Island with her tortoise, rabbit, and Yorkie. She also brings back a love for nature, animals, and art. In her free time, Tina likes to paint, play video games, and go to the gym. Tina is excited to share what she’s learned and give back to the Grand Island community.
